Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases commissioned its 325-tonnes-per-day air separation unit at Jai Balaji Industries’ Durgapur manufacturing facility on 25 September 2026. Its exchange disclosure says revenue would begin in September.

The company established, owns and operates the unit under a 15-year onsite industrial-gas supply agreement signed on 14 February 2025. Ellenbarrie describes the arrangement as take-or-pay.

Why it matters

For the Kolkata-based supplier, commissioning converts a contracted project into an operating asset in West Bengal’s steel supply chain. The contract structure provides revenue visibility; it does not establish a disclosed annual revenue or profit contribution.

What comes next

Watch subsequent operating and financial disclosures for the unit’s contribution. The commissioning filing does not quantify project cost, realised utilisation or customer payments.
